Independent representation

The local leaders of Lilongwe City Central are particularly interested in an independent candidate in their constituency. The main advantage of being an independent is that Chikondi is able to work closely with whatever the government of that “day” will be. He can work closely with the community on development issues without the complications of party politics. Chikondi will also be able to advocate peace and tolerance during the elections, as well as in parliament. The constituents of Lilongwe City Central have been disappointed by their past representatives. They are now ready for a neutral representative who understands that Lilongwe City Central is looking forward to an impartial voice to represent them.

Independent without party association

It important to note that a lot of independent candidates have previous ties with political party and that in fact the only reason they are independent is because they were unable to win the primary elections in within their party structures. Chikondi Nkhoma is independent because this is the best way to serve a contituency that has a lot of national issues. Lilongwe City Central is the heart beat of the Malawian government.
